WHEYGHTY PROTEIN 80 is a supplement based on 80% whey protein obtained by ultra-filtration (CFM) with added vitamins. GLUTEN FREE.
In the human organism, proteins have a primarily plastic/structural function, while from an energetic point of view, under normal physiological conditions, they are of negligible importance. Proteins provide most of the 'building blocks' (amino acids) from which we are made and only become substrates of an energetic nature under very specific conditions (e.g. prolonged fasting).
It is known that the rate of absorption of amino acids and small peptides in the gastrointestinal tract differs substantially depending on the type of protein from which they are derived. Whey protein has a relatively short residence time in the stomach and enters the small intestine faster than casein. This accounts for the better absorption and digestibility of these proteins, the intake of which results in a considerable increase in free amino acids in the blood within less than an hour of intake. Whey protein is recognised as having an excellent anabolic action following training due to the ease with which our body utilises these proteins.
More specifically, Wheyghty Protein 80 is an easily digestible, extremely soluble protein with a good taste. The good protein content, coupled with great ease of use (high solubility), makes the product useful in all sports requiring protein supplementation. With regard to body building, these proteins can be used in the first part of preparation (mass), while for the final pre-race phase they should be replaced by proteins with a higher protein content (e.g. Whey Protein 90, Top 100% XP). With the exception of the body building, pre-race phase, the fraction of fats and carbohydrates present in the product is an advantage, as it makes it more complete from a nutritional and energy point of view and therefore suitable for all users of the various sports. The type of raw material (protein base) used in the production of Wheyghty Protein 80, has undergone the 'instantaneisation' process which results, as mentioned, in excellent solubility (30 g dissolve in 100 mL of water or skimmed milk, cold, after a few seconds of shaking).
To the formulation, B vitamins have been added, which are essential for transforming food into energy, play a fundamental role in the construction of haemoglobin (molecule used to transport oxygen in our muscles) and, together with vitamin C, have antioxidant power.
Indications for use:
SPORT: in addition to the nutritional importance that protein has, taking it as a supplement is indicated in sports whenever you want to ensure an increase or maintenance of lean mass (muscle mass) at the expense of fat mass.
Serving size: Dissolve 2.5 scoops (corresponding to 25 g) in at least 80-100 ml of water or low-fat milk. For those practising power sports, 1.6-1.7 g of TOTAL daily protein/kg body weight may be recommended. These dosages should be sufficient to meet the requirements for muscle mass growth/maintenance. For those practising endurance sports, 1.2-1.4 g/kg body weight may be recommended for maintaining muscle mass.
Warnings: Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Intake should not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy and lactation, in case of liver or kidney disease, in children and in any case for prolonged periods without consulting a doctor.
Ingredients: milk protein (whey protein obtained by ultrafiltration (CFM)), flavourings, sweeteners: sucralose, steviol glycosides (extracted from leaves of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni); L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), DL-alpha tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), riboflavin (vitamin B2), thiamin hydrochloride (vitamin B1), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). The product may contain soya and egg.
