Testo Tech is a supplement that aims to promote increased endogenous testosterone production.
The main player in Testo Tech is D-Aspartic Acid.
It is an endogenous and nonessential amino acid, meaning it is already produced and naturally present in our bodies. We find it mainly at the level of the nervous and endocrine systems.
The choice to include it in Testo Tech lies in the fact that this amino acid, which is very present in the pituitary gland and testes, plays a key role in regulating the release and synthesis of LH (luteinizing hormone) and testosterone (Topo et al., Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, 2009, 7:20).
Another amino acid involved in hormone production is L-Arginine. It supports, in fact, the action of GH, stimulates the release of insulin and is also essential for two other actions: detoxification from amonia accumulated in the body and the production of Nitric Oxide, a vasodilator.
To support the amino acids in Testo Tech, the root of a Peruvian plant was selected: maca (Lepidium meyenii Walp), which grows wild only at altitudes above 3500 m. Zinc is an element that can support the action of testosterone and insulin (as well as having antioxidant and immune system support). Studies have shown a close correlation between blood levels of zinc and those of testosterone. The anabolic action of testosterone would depend on good availability of zinc and another mineral, magnesium. It too, in fact, is a mineral with positive influences on anabolic hormone production.
