StarGel+ is a carbohydrate gel (Vitargo®, maltodextrin, fructose and dextrose) that allows the body to have energy from a few minutes after intake until a couple of hours later. Star Gel+, moreover, thanks to the presence of complex carbohydrates such as maltodextrins and amylopectin contained in the Vitargo, guarantees energy support during long lasting exercises.
ß-alanine is a precursor of carnosine, which intervenes by buffering muscle acidity, also due to the presence of lactic acid. HMB is a derivative of leucine which is recognised as having a role in increasing protein synthesis. Each individual pack of Star Gel+ contains 60 mg of caffeine, which is roughly the amount provided by an espresso coffee.
Directions for use: it is advisable to take one or more single-dose packs first and/or during physical activity, depending on the athlete's needs.
Warnings: food supplements should not be intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The intake must not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed a maximum daily intake of caffeine from all sources of 400 mg.
