Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as the sleeping berry, has been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine and alternative medicine for various purposes. The plant extract is particularly popular as a therapeutic agent in the Indian healing art of Ayurveda. Here, Ashwaganda is primarily used to reduce stress, rejuvenate and improve general vitality.
The branded raw material KSM-66® is known for its exceptionally high quality. While ashwagandha root contains a large number of important constituents such as fatty acids, minerals and phytonutrients, the so-called withanolides are particularly characteristic and valuable for this plant species.
KSM-66® is standardised to at least 5% withanolides through a unique extraction process and is subject to the strictest quality controls and analyses. The use of the bio-enhancer AstraGin® makes the ashwagandha formula even more effective. The plant extract mixture can improve the absorption of various other ingredients in the small intestine.
We recommend taking two capsules of Ashwagandha Professional per day as part of your nutritional supplementation as part of a healthy, needs-based diet and an active and sporty lifestyle.
