Vitargo Gel without caffeine
We have not changed the recipe at all – except for the caffeine content, which is now 0. Barley starch is a high-quality carbohydrate with long molecular chains. The amylopectin is produced using a patented process that was developed in Sweden specifically for high-performance sports. Amylopectin barley starch is now used in various sports such as tennis, triathlon and other endurance sports, as well as in speed and pure strength disciplines.
Carbohydrates play an important role as an energy source and should make up the majority of your diet, i.e. up to 50 per cent or more of your total daily calorie intake, depending on the type of sport you do and the duration of your training. The brain even relies on carbohydrates as its sole source of energy.
Simple sugars or simple molecular structures such as maltodextrin, dextrose and/or sucrose raise blood sugar levels very quickly, but unlike long-chain sugars, they also cause them to drop very quickly, which is not really ideal as it causes constant ups and downs.
In preparation for physical exertion (competition or training), you should start using amylopectin barley starch two days beforehand. Of course, Vitargo can also be taken during or after a competition to replace depleted carbohydrates.

Recommended intake during physical activity/training/competition: Consume one sachet every 25-35 minutes during sporting activities, mixed with 200 ml of water.
